A Familiar Face.

You see so many of those on the bus; so many different faces, so many different voices, so many different styles, so many different people living such different lives. They all come and go, their faces fade from your memory in the matter of seconds, you'll never recognize that voice, they walk off to go live their own lives that you are only a small feature in. But, when I saw you it was different.
Tuesdays and Thursdays I'd see you. You would always get on 5 stops after I had gotten on- 5 stops was all that was in between us. You always got on at the same time, always sat in the same seat, you always had the same routine. I watched every time as you walked up to your seat occasionally glancing at those around you, I watched until you eventually glanced at me you stared for a second or two before we both indulged in our own devices, we never spoke ever, and we never looked at each other again.
A week had passed and you had become a somewhat familiar face I eventually started glancing at you a few more times during our bus rides. You always wore the same chain everyday just as I do, you always slouched in your seat just as I do, you hair was always somewhat messy as if you never bothered with it in the morning. I saw that you too had started to look around a lot more, occasionally I'd notice you look in my direction and I tried my hardest not to look back and make eye contact with you.
Two weeks had passed and I noticed more and more about you. You rarely ever texted anyone in the morning you'd look at your phone for a bit when you first get on and then you would look out the window staring at the views passing by, you had a sneaky tattoo on your shoulder that I noticed one day when you wore a short sleeve, you were very fit it was clear you went to the gym often I sometimes wondered when you went so I could potentially catch you taking the bus then as well. I also finally occasionally made eye contact with you because you looked at me more frequently.
I wondered what you had noticed about me by now, have you learned some new things about me? is there anything you know about me that I don't? Do you analyze me the way I analyze you? I know I shouldn't be but how can I help myself when you are such a constant feature in my life- well only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.. if only I saw you more often.
