Dad is not your name, Father you isn't who you are. A man, a myth, a mystery- that's what you are. Gone in the shadows of the night, disappeared in the dusk, vanished in pure daylight.

Where have you gone? What are you doing? Who are you now? Where are you supposed to be? What should you be doing? Who are you made to become?

Dad is not who you are, Father you will never be. Strange words in strange mouths from strangers- That'll never be your name but you'll hear it all around you. Do you wish to be or are you glad you never are? Are you playing a role or is this who you truly are? Never again, never at all, never to be.

So who are you if you aren't that? Who are you if you aren't him? No one I'd ever know- stranger in a strange world, a man I'll never learn the name of, a myth spoken about only in memories, a mystery thought throughout the years.
