Everyone makes mistakes. It's normal- It's human. You shouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed of the mistakes you make or have made, you should take the time to remember them and learn from them and try your best not to make the mistake again. Don't let those mistakes hold you back but also don't let others mistakes hold you back either.

Don't let something somebody else has done hold you back- learn and adapt to it. Take that mistake and turn it into something glorious that you and potentially them can learn from. Because how can we improve, how can we better ourselves, how can we learn without making a couple bad moves every once in awhile?

Learn to not do the same thing twice once you've seen the result and realize you don't like it. Learn what the right thing to say or do is and do that next time. Learn what's best in what situation to prevent yourself making the wrong choice in the next situation. But also learn your opponents move and do what benefits you as a rebuttal.

But most importantly don't think that one mistake or a few mistakes make you the villain. Don't think that not knowing something and saying or doing the wrong thing makes you the bad guy. You're human- You're perfectly normal. Instead of holing yourself up in order to not make the same mistake again- tackle it head on. You aren't the bad guy, you aren't the one who always messes things up, not everything is your fault.

But if you do feel like the bad guy remember that there can always be multiple bad guys. When you make a mistake and know clearly that you are in the wrong you may feel guilt but always remember what you felt like because you made that mistake. Did the other person do something wrong? Was the other person the villain in your eyes before you made this mistake? Was there something you didn't like that pushed you to make the wrong choice?

Two negatives don't make a positive. Hold yourself accountable for the mistakes you've made but don't live in fear of them and hold them accountable for the mistakes they've made. Just because you have done something wrong doesn't excuse them for what they did wrong. Don't let your mistake and their feelings push you in a corner and make yourself feel like the sole villain. No one is the villain- you are simply two people who made mistakes and don't forget that.

The world doesn't solely lay on your shoulders. You aren't Atlas.
