Not To Be Trusted.

You'll never know what's in another persons mind. You'll never know what they're truly thinking, how they truly feel, what they truly mean. You'll never know who a person actually is- all you'll know is what they allow you to see.

You'll know what they want you to think, you'll know what they want you to believe they mean, you'll know what they want you to believe they feel. But ultimately you'll never truly know them, you'll never truly no anyone- even yourself.

Humans are liars. That's what we do. We lie, we deceive, we hide the truth, we act off our true wants despite how it affects others. Humans aren't to be trusted, and we'll show you that time and time over again.

Humans will hurt you, in big and small ways. Humans will be horrible. Humans will be selfish. Humans will tell little white lies. Humans will hide major things. Humans are just that and there's no changing them.

So how can you ever really trust? How can you ever build a connection with anyone in your life?

We rely on our knowledge of people on what we believe to be true about them and who we think they are as a person. But that could all be fake, it could be a lie, it could be a half-truth. You can see them as the best person in the world and turns out they are actually the worst in the world.

That's scary, because humans also crave connection. We desire these things in life such as happiness, connection, love, friendship, loyalty, truth. So how do you get those things, how do you trust those things, how do you believe them to be real if humans can't be trusted.

Don't ask me, I don't have the answers. All I know is you really can't trust anything.. not even your own thoughts.
